Chairman’s Reserve The Forgotten Casks refers to the “lost” casks that were found four years after fire broke out at the distillery on May 2nd, 2007. This serendipitous discovery was successfully replicated to create a new extra-aged version of our award-winning rum. Ex-bourbon barrels are aged separately by batch, then together for an additional 6 months. Total ageing in ex-bourbon barrels is 7-8 years.
